Ways to prevent LRT crash

THE recent LRT collision was an incident many would not have expected. According to the news that i read from newspaper, this incident happened is due to the short interval schedule.Having trains running at three minute intervals is imprudent and an invitation to tragedy. There are a lot of factors coming into play when a train stalls. One is the breakdown in communications between the affected train and the operations room. Secondly, there might also be communication problems with another train that is on the same track as the stalled train.

It will be wiser to plan for 5 or 10 minute interval schedules during the peak periods and 15-minute intervals during the off-peak periods. Furthermore, the trains should have extra coaches with comfortable seats.

Apart from that, there is another kind of accident waiting to happen is that of passengers, especially children playing in the waiting area falling onto the tracks just as a train comes in.
An automatic gate controlled from the operations room should be set up, which opens only when the train has come to a complete halt.

An accident is an unexpected event which occurs in a particular time and place, without apparent or deliberate cause but with marked effects. As the saying goes, prevent is always better than cure. So, before anything happen, we must be alert and becareful to the threats around us. Appropriate action should be taken to eliminate them.

3 Things that Microsoft Can't Explain!

There are 3 things that even Microsoft can't explain! These are what i found on internet, very interesting. You must try it out!

MAGIC #1

An Indian found that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the Computer which can be named as 'CON'. This is something funny and inexplicable… At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn't answer why this happened!TRY IT NOW, IT WILL NOT CREATE A 'CON'

FOLDERMAGIC #2

For those of you using Windows, do the following:
1.) Open an empty notepad file
2.) Type 'Bush hid the facts' (without the quotes)
3.) Save it as whatever you want.
4.) Close it, and re-open it.Noticed the weird bug? No one can explain!

MAGIC #3

Again this is something funny and can't be explained… At Microsoft the whole Team, including Bill Gates, couldn't answer why this happened! It was discovered by a Brazilian. Try it out yourself…Open Microsoft Word and type=rand (200, 99)And then press ENTERAnd see the magic…..!

It's really amazing... There are a lot of things in this world that we can't explain such as Alien, ghost, bomoh... This world is full of mystery and excitement. The invention of new things, theories or ideas may bring a new life to our coming generation.

The Crusial Part of Trumpet

The valves is the most important part of a trumpet. Valves is also known as pistons. A normal trumpet consists of 3 valves. The 1st valve is the one closest to the player, the 2nd valve is the one at the middle and the last is the furthest. Each of the valves has its own valve slides.

When air is blown into the mouthpiece, the valves reroutes the air into different valve slides. The valve is used to lower and block a portion of the air, thus lowering or raising the pitch of the note. Pressing down on each of the valve directs the air through a small length of extra tube ( valve slides ) This has the effect of lengthening the whole trumpet, which lowers the pitch of the note that being played.

Used singly and in combination of these valves make the instrument fully chromatic.

Loan Shark

http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/9/14/focus/2015789&sec=focus

I read the above article on this morning. It is really a shocking news that i had read today. It sent a chill down my spine! The tactics that the loan sharks used to collect money from borrowers are really merciless. They are able to commit harassments, death threats, beatings and sexual assaults to recoup their “business investments”. All these fella are totally lost a piece of mind while taking their actions. It is not a behaviour that a human being should be. I am also wondering why the borrowers will be so stupid to lend money from all these illegal Ah Long instead they are clearly understood the consequences.

So, please looks for the proper department to solve your economy problems and do not be the next prey of the ruthless loan sharks.

World's Tallest Dog

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_dane

Great Dane is the tallest dog in te world. It has been listed in Guinness World Records for tallest dog. Based on what i had read, in August 2004, a Great Dane named "Gibson" from Grass Valley, California was recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's tallest dog, measuring 107 cm (42.2 in) at the withers. It is not in the best interest of the breed to attempt to achieve the "tallest" dog. Breeding for height will sacrifice structure and confirmation in the Great Dane and produce dogs that are unsound. The size of a Great Dane is slightly about the size of a pony. The nickname of Great Dane is Gentle Giant or Dane. It is also called Danish Hound or German Mastiff.

The following are the features of a pure breed Great Dane :

The male should appear more massive throughout than the female, with larger frame and heavier bone. In the ratio between length and height, the Great Dane should be square.
The male shall not be less than 30 inches (75 cm) at the shoulders, but it is preferable that he be 32 inches or more (>80 cm), providing he is well proportioned to his height.

In females, a somewhat longer body is permissible, providing she is well proportioned to her height. The female shall not be less than 28 inches (70 cm) at the shoulders, but it is preferable that she be 30 inches or more (>75 cm), providing she is well proportioned to her height.

Danes under minimum height must be disqualified. Males must weigh a minimum of 120 lbs (54.5 kg).

According to my own research, the market price of 1 pure Great Dane puppy is around 1 thousand US dollar. It is around RM 3800. It is really a big figure for me, maybe i am able to get one but it is very tough for me to rare this gigantic dog. Because this dog has a very very horrible appetite !!!!

I hope that one day i may affort to rare a lot of different kinds of domestic animals especially Great Dane.
