In order to reduce the burning sensation, eat fatty foods such as buttered toast and milk. Drinking water won't help to reduce the burning sensation because Capsaicin is not soluble in water. Besides fatty foods, Capsaicin is also very soluble in pure alcohol, so drinking certain high alcohol content beers or wine should help a little be more than plain water. Even better yet, mouth wash is usually about 20% alcohol, which is much higher than all beer and wines. Rinsing with this may be your best and quickest bet.

How and why spicy food causes a burn sensation
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capsaicin
Our tongue is made up of a series of sensors. These respond to different taste sensations, such as sweet, sour, salt... Well, certain foods have chemicals which cause an over stimulation of a certain group of these sensors. Every one has a different level or trigger point, some chiefs are very sensitive to the smallest variation in taste.
The reason certain foods are spicy is mainly do to a molecule called capsaicin.
Capsaicin ( 8-methyl-N-vanillyl-6-nonenamide ) is the main compound in chile peppers that give them their spice and is found in many hot sauces as well. It is an irritant for mammals, including humans, and produces a sensation of burning in any tissue with which it comes into contact.

Orchestra
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orchestra
An orchestra is an instrumental ensemble. In an orchestra, it consist of sections that is divided according to the instrument family that is string, brass, woodwind, and possibly a percussion section. The orchestra grew by accretion throughout the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, but changed very little in composition during the course of the twentieth century.
To form an orchestra, a necessary amount of players are needed. For smaller orchestra it must consist about fifty players or fewer where it is called a chamber orchestra. A full size orchestra must consist about 100 players and it may sometimes be called a "symphony orchestra" or "philharmonic orchestra".
In the organisation of the orchestra, there are principle in every section where they are resposible for orchestra solos. The principle of the strings is also considered as the concert master. In modern times, musicians are usually directed by the conductor.

Chinese Dialect - Teochew
Teochew is spelled in english, in some other words, it can be Teochiu, Tiuchiu, Tiochiu, or Diojiu. It is a Chaozhou language. Teochew is dialect of the Southern Min Chinese language, spoken in the Chaoshan region of eastern Guangdong. An approximately of 2-5 million speakers in overseas.Chaoshan was one of the major sources of Chinese emigration to Southeast Asia during the 18th–20th centuries, forming one of the larger dialect groups among the Overseas Chinese.
As a result, Chaozhou is now spoken in many regions outside of Chaoshan. One of it is our country Malaysia. In Singapore, Teochew has become one of the native language of many Chinese people and is the second largest Chinese group in Singapore, after the Hokkien. In Malaysia, most Teochew people is staying in an area located in a few parts of the places in each states.

Banana
What does the term "banana" mean? Plainly speaking its the group of Chinese people (associated with being yellow-skinned) who is fluent in English (associated with being white) but isn't proficient in their mother tongue, such as Mandarin, Hakka, Cantonese, Hokkien & etc..
This phenomena is not only happening in the big cities like Penang, KL or Melaka ; it is happening in other countries either. There are other analogies, like Oreo. Oreo is for an African-American being "white" inside in the US.
Commonly, there are 4 types of Banana :
Type 1: He or she can speak fluent English and Chinese dialect; interpreter material.
Type 2: His or her English is good, definitely better than their own Chinese dialect; but they can converse with Por Por without trouble... although you wish they could speak English
Type 3: He or she is midway between the two, neither one is superior to the other and they are not a master at both.
Type 4: . They will struggle when speaking in Chinese dialect. English is their mother tongue.
In my point of view, different people have their different family background and different life-style. So, the most important thing is that we must learn to respect each others. It is very rude and stupid to discriminate our friends which could not master their own dialect. Conversely, we must learn to be humble. There are a lot of things that we can learn from them too.

Paracetamol
The common function of Paracetamol is reducing pain. One of the well known brand for paracetamol is Panadol. It comes with two types, liquids and tablets. Paracetamol can also lower a raised temperature (fever). A good example is Panadol Active Fast. As pain and fever are common, no home should be without some paracetamol, particularly homes with children. It is often in the middle of the night when fever or pains such as earache occur. Paracetamol can be used during pregnancy also as it is less toxic in nature.

Ways to prevent LRT crash
THE recent LRT collision was an incident many would not have expected. According to the news that i read from newspaper, this incident happened is due to the short interval schedule.Having trains running at three minute intervals is imprudent and an invitation to tragedy. There are a lot of factors coming into play when a train stalls. One is the breakdown in communications between the affected train and the operations room. Secondly, there might also be communication problems with another train that is on the same track as the stalled train.
It will be wiser to plan for 5 or 10 minute interval schedules during the peak periods and 15-minute intervals during the off-peak periods. Furthermore, the trains should have extra coaches with comfortable seats.
Apart from that, there is another kind of accident waiting to happen is that of passengers, especially children playing in the waiting area falling onto the tracks just as a train comes in.
An automatic gate controlled from the operations room should be set up, which opens only when the train has come to a complete halt.
An accident is an unexpected event which occurs in a particular time and place, without apparent or deliberate cause but with marked effects. As the saying goes, prevent is always better than cure. So, before anything happen, we must be alert and becareful to the threats around us. Appropriate action should be taken to eliminate them.

3 Things that Microsoft Can't Explain!
There are 3 things that even Microsoft can't explain! These are what i found on internet, very interesting. You must try it out!
MAGIC #1
An Indian found that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the Computer which can be named as 'CON'. This is something funny and inexplicable… At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn't answer why this happened!TRY IT NOW, IT WILL NOT CREATE A 'CON'
FOLDERMAGIC #2
For those of you using Windows, do the following:
1.) Open an empty notepad file
2.) Type 'Bush hid the facts' (without the quotes)
3.) Save it as whatever you want.
4.) Close it, and re-open it.Noticed the weird bug? No one can explain!
MAGIC #3
Again this is something funny and can't be explained… At Microsoft the whole Team, including Bill Gates, couldn't answer why this happened! It was discovered by a Brazilian. Try it out yourself…Open Microsoft Word and type=rand (200, 99)And then press ENTERAnd see the magic…..!
It's really amazing... There are a lot of things in this world that we can't explain such as Alien, ghost, bomoh... This world is full of mystery and excitement. The invention of new things, theories or ideas may bring a new life to our coming generation.

The Crusial Part of Trumpet
The valves is the most important part of a trumpet. Valves is also known as pistons. A normal trumpet consists of 3 valves. The 1st valve is the one closest to the player, the 2nd valve is the one at the middle and the last is the furthest. Each of the valves has its own valve slides.
When air is blown into the mouthpiece, the valves reroutes the air into different valve slides. The valve is used to lower and block a portion of the air, thus lowering or raising the pitch of the note. Pressing down on each of the valve directs the air through a small length of extra tube ( valve slides ) This has the effect of lengthening the whole trumpet, which lowers the pitch of the note that being played.
Used singly and in combination of these valves make the instrument fully chromatic.

Loan Shark
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/9/14/focus/2015789&sec=focus
I read the above article on this morning. It is really a shocking news that i had read today. It sent a chill down my spine! The tactics that the loan sharks used to collect money from borrowers are really merciless. They are able to commit harassments, death threats, beatings and sexual assaults to recoup their “business investments”. All these fella are totally lost a piece of mind while taking their actions. It is not a behaviour that a human being should be. I am also wondering why the borrowers will be so stupid to lend money from all these illegal Ah Long instead they are clearly understood the consequences.
So, please looks for the proper department to solve your economy problems and do not be the next prey of the ruthless loan sharks.

World's Tallest Dog
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_dane
Great Dane is the tallest dog in te world. It has been listed in Guinness World Records for tallest dog. Based on what i had read, in August 2004, a Great Dane named "Gibson" from Grass Valley, California was recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's tallest dog, measuring 107 cm (42.2 in) at the withers. It is not in the best interest of the breed to attempt to achieve the "tallest" dog. Breeding for height will sacrifice structure and confirmation in the Great Dane and produce dogs that are unsound. The size of a Great Dane is slightly about the size of a pony. The nickname of Great Dane is Gentle Giant or Dane. It is also called Danish Hound or German Mastiff.
The following are the features of a pure breed Great Dane :
The male should appear more massive throughout than the female, with larger frame and heavier bone. In the ratio between length and height, the Great Dane should be square.
The male shall not be less than 30 inches (75 cm) at the shoulders, but it is preferable that he be 32 inches or more (>80 cm), providing he is well proportioned to his height.
In females, a somewhat longer body is permissible, providing she is well proportioned to her height. The female shall not be less than 28 inches (70 cm) at the shoulders, but it is preferable that she be 30 inches or more (>75 cm), providing she is well proportioned to her height.
Danes under minimum height must be disqualified. Males must weigh a minimum of 120 lbs (54.5 kg).
According to my own research, the market price of 1 pure Great Dane puppy is around 1 thousand US dollar. It is around RM 3800. It is really a big figure for me, maybe i am able to get one but it is very tough for me to rare this gigantic dog. Because this dog has a very very horrible appetite !!!!
I hope that one day i may affort to rare a lot of different kinds of domestic animals especially Great Dane.

Redang suffering at hands of tourists
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/9/9/focus/1976119&sec=focus
Based on what i had read, the natural resources at Redang especially coral reef are decreasing tremendously recently. Natural resources at Redang are facing threats from humans and dying by seconds. The research shown that the number of tourists has grown past the carrying capacity of the natural resources on the island.
Although tourism is very crusial in boosting the development of local economy and social, at the same time the state government should emphasize more in restoring and taking care of the natural resources which actually attract the tourists in the first place.

Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Wonders_of_the_Ancient_World
The above is the list of 7 wonders in the world. Based on what i had read this morning, 6 out of 7 of these 7 wonders had been destructed due to arson, plundering and earthquake. The only 7 wonders that is still standing is Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. Temple of Artemis is destructed by arson and plundering. As for the rest are being destroyed by natural disaster such as earthquake. Construction of these buildings are needed a lot of specs of knowledge and technologies. If we think rationally, it is impossible for human being to create such a "thing" at that time. Somehow, it is not wrong to come out some concepts that relate these 7 wonders with Alien. But i still strongly believe that our human being have our own latent intelligence that is still never discovered. I also hope that i can own a "well-developed" brain as what they had at the past.

The Yamaha T100S Trumpet is one of the oldest musical instruments in the brass family.
It is used in many forms of music and mostly had been played in the orchestra performance and many other festivals. At the ancient time, it functions as a signal, it carries a message or an instruction from a person or from persons to the others, commonly in great distance. Trumpet
I would like to share with you all my experience about trumpet this musical instrument. Basically, this instrument consists of 3 parts mouthpiece, tubing and the bell. We can also make our own simple trumpet by connecting a water paip (tubing) with a funnel (bell).
To make sound from this "trumpet", firstly we must know how to do brass embouchure, "buzzing". Pitches are changed in part through altering the amount of muscular contraction in the lip formation. The performer's use of the air, tightening of cheek and jaw muscles, as well as tongue manipulation can affect how the embouchure works. The "buzzing" sound that made from our lips is exactly the bees buzzing sound. We also can simply play out any songs by using our mouth buzzing. Is it very interesting?

The Threat During Schooling Time
It is really cannot deny that we got a lot of free time during university life. The time is too free until come to the extent that students may choose their own schedule to have class or even can finish all the classes in 3 or 4 days time in 1 week. So, what normally a undergraduate students do during their free time?
According to my own opinion, most of the students spend their time by playing computer game, watching movie, chatting... It is not wrong for all of us to do all those staff mentioned above. It is a kind of amusement for students, maybe the worst it is the only entertainment at some university. But, i would like to emphasize that please do not endulge in it especially playing computer game and watching soup opera. It is really a not "ending story" once you start it. We may watch it and play it, in condition we must be under controlled. You will have a great regret once you realise that how many time that you have wasted there and start feelling nervous when seeing the accumulated homeworks and assignments that is not yet finished.
However, there is also a lot of students can spend their time fruitfully and planning their schedule well. But please do not come to the extent that passing your university life in library. It is meaningless to come to university.

Why Chinese shouldn't have Christian names?
Why Chinese shouldn't have Christian names:
Anne Chang (Mandarin)-Dirty
Anne Chin (Mandarin) - Keep quiet
Faye Chen (Mandarin) - Dusty
Carl Cheng (Hokkien) - Buttock
Monica Cheng (Hokkien) - Touching your buttocks
Lucy Leow (Hokkien) - You are dead
Jane Tan (Mandarin) - Frying eggs
Suzie Leow (Hokkien) - Lost till death
Henry Mah (Mandarin) - Hate your mum
Corrine Tai (Hokkien) - Poor fellow
Paul Chan (Mandarin) - Bankrupt
Nelson Tan (Mandarin) - Bird laying eggs
Leslie Tong (Mandarin) - Rubbish bin
Carmen Teng (Hokkien) - Leg hair long
Connie Mah (Cantonese) - Call your mother
Danny See (Hokkien) - Squeeze you to death
Rosie Teng (Hokkien) - Screws and nails
Pete Tsai (Hokkien) - Nose droppings
Macy Koh (Cantonese) - Never die before
This is the reason why Chinese shouldn't simply give name to their next generation especially Christian name. There are a lot of dialects in Chinese society, such as Hakka, Hokkien, Cantonese, ..... Some of the pronunciation could be the same for certain dialects but it might come out with different meanings. This is what we called " The Power of Languages.

Good News From Our Cabinet - PTPTN interest rates is reduced from 3% to 1%
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/8/14/nation/22079534&sec=nation
For all the PTPTN loan holders, please read the above news for your own information. Indeed, it is a good news from our cabinet.
In my opinon, it is very very hard for those who have just graduated to deal with the great dept from PTPTN. Everything seems so expensive now, and with just RM 2k (that’s the average pay for fresh graduates), they cannot really survive especially during this economy downturn period.
Imagine for people who borrowed 52k from PTPTN. With 3% interest, the monthly administration fee is about RM 130 and the amount needed to pay is RM 323.43 per month. So net amount paid per month would be RM 193.43 out of RM 52k. So, if pay for this month and not the following 2 months, the total amount will be like this:
RM 52000 + RM 130 - RM 323.43 + 2 (RM130) = RM 52066.57
The amount paid RM 323.43 will become NOTHING as the net amount will be back to
> RM 52k.
So let us see the new interest rate, 1% out of RM 52k is RM 520. Which means for 1 month, just only need to pay RM 43.33 for interest charge/administration fee.
Now, if pay with RM 323.43 per month
RM 52000 + RM 43.33 - RM 323.43 = RM 51719.90
So how many months can go on without paying before my RM 323.43 got swallowed up by the interest?
RM 52000 - RM 51719.90 = RM 280.1 ….around 6 months.
2 months as compared to the new 6 months. Is not that good?
p/s : the above calculation is refered from website. I would like to share this good news and also want to let you all know the proper calculation method.
Thanks.

Cops shoot dead four robbers
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/8/29/nation/20080829144823&sec=nation
Our police force had done a great job by shooting down 4 idiotic robbers this morning 5.30 am !
It was definitely a good news for all the citizens. These 4 robbers committed in 19 robberies in Ampang and Kuala Kubu Baru in Selangor as well as in Negri Sembilan and Malacca over the past month. Obviously, they had lost their peace of mind and never think about the consequences of their actions.
We cannot deny that money is very important, we can't even survive without it. We should make and earn the money legally with the proper way. As a civilized person, we have the responsibility to keep our society hormoniously.

Malaysian ended a 12 year title drought for a medal in Badminton
Lee Chong Wei may have lost in his final of the Olympics but his return in Malaysia is similar to one he would have had if he had grabbed Gold. He is still bringing Malaysia’s only medal for the games. Although the participation of our country in the 29th Beijing Olimpic did not bear much fruit but the world comes to know of Malaysia through sport personalities like Lee Chong Wei. Lee Chong Wei is Malaysia’s Hero. He is not only brought glorious to our country he also showed the true case of the spirit of Malaysia. Notice how he kissed the Jalur Gemilang twice after his win in the semi-finals. He came back to his home country and got the honors he deserved, being welcomed by top officials and government top figures. The Malaysian ended a 12 year title drought for a medal in Badminton for his country and grabbed an historical Silver medal in the men’s single event. Lee Chong Wei is a role model for us. We must try our best and be tough in pursuing our future.

Flash floods after downpour
http://thestar.com.my/metro/story.asp?file=/2008/8/29/central/1907849&sec=central
“It had been raining for several days and rainwater had caused the ground to be saturated. As a result, there was extra water run-off. This is not only happening in the city centre, but also in Petaling Jaya and Kajang,” Hooi, the reporter of StarMetro said.
Flash floods at city area especially Kuala Lumpur is no longer a hot news as before. It happens quite frequently and now even become a crisis for the local government. This flash floods caused massive traffic congestion at many major roads at KL during the afterwork rush hours. This situation left a bad impact to the foreigner.
But, the good news is that the city will have seven more long-term flood mitigation projects at various flood-prone areas, including Jalan Travers and Jalan Chan Sow Lin. It is a good try and ideal solution from the authorities concerned. So, i sincerely hope that our government project in solving this problem will come out a success.

Hysteria
http://www.bernama.com/bernama/v3/news_lite.php?id=352115
According to the report from Bernama, there are 35 students from SMK Tanjung Lumpur, Kuantan suffering from hysteria. The students kept on screaming and yielding "I want fresh blood and flesh". It is really an unbelievable case that i ever seen. This news really astonished and frightened me!
Actually i not so sure what is Hysteria. After checking from wikipedia, hysteria, in its colloquial use, describes a state of mind, one of unmanageable fear or emotional excesses. The fear is often caused by multiple events in one's past that involved some sort of severe conflict; the fear can be centered on a body part or most commonly on an imagined problem with that body part (disease is a common complaint). People who are "hysterical" often lose self-control due to the overwhelming fear.
Something like "merasuk hantu". Before this i am not so believe in these things but after reading the article, it totally change my mindset. Although there is no any sceintic can prove that the existance of ghost but it really happens in our real live. So, we better to prevent it by fastening tight our own religion and believe.

Must educate our new generation since young
The Statistic

Ex-girlfriend 22.6%
Acquaintance 3.1%
Close friend 9.4%
Casual date 2.2%
Wife 13.2%
Stranger 1.1%
The above statistic list out the main perpetrators that commited in illegal raping case. Related to the article that i read last few days, a schoolgirl had been raped by her close friend after having their supper at "mamak stall". What actually happened to our teenagers nowadays?
In my point of view, the education department should stress more on sex education among students since they are young. Sex education should start during primary school time. It must stress more on how to protect our own body and expose to the new generation the true meaning of sex. According the research, most of the teenagers that committed in raping are because of the curiosity. If we study sex from the scope of science, sex education has a close relation with psychotherapy. Lastly, i strongly agree the education department launch the proper sex education to our youngster.

'Farting' Gas is Flammable !!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flatulence
Flatus is flammable, as both methane and hydrogen are flammable gases. The odor in flatulence comes from hydrogen sulphide (from foods in the diet) and other sulfur- or nitrogen-containing compounds including methanethiol (methyl mercaptan). Upon lighting a match the hydrogen sulphide will ignite to form water (vapor) and sulphur dioxide. Removing the hydrogen sulphide may also remove the odor, although this has been disputed.
After reading the article, i just realise that why does our fart sometimes is odor but sometimes is odorless. All of these are due to the chemical reaction in our stomach. Out of the blue, the hydrogen sulphide that release along with flatulence is the main cause of the smelly gases. Last, the most humour thing is that our farting gas may cause our buttock on fire !! This is because the "gas" contains methane and hydrogen !
The scientific name of farting is flatulence. Basically, there are 2 groups of gases in our flatulence. The 1st one is odorless gases and the 2nd one is odor gases. Before this, lets see the composition of our daily flatulence gases.
The olfactory components of flatulence include skatole, indole, and sulfurous compounds. The non-odorous gases are mainly nitrogen (ingested), carbon dioxide (produced by aerobic microbes or ingested), and hydrogen (produced by some microbes), as well as lesser amounts of oxygen (ingested) and methane (produced by anaerobic microbes).Flatus is flammable, as both methane and hydrogen are flammable gases. Banana Kick
According to the wikipedia, banana kick is also known as a checkside punt. The banana kick is a kicking style used in Australian Rules and rugby league football. When kicked, it bends away from the body and is usually used when a set shot for goal is lined up on a narrow angle.
The following are the simplest 4 steps to perform Banana kick:
Step 1
Place the soccer ball on the ground and take a few steps back. You will want your target to be at least 30 feet away, but not out of your kicking range.
Step 2
Set up a target for your shot. The target can either be a goal, a fellow player or just a spot on the ground. Be sure you know exactly where you want the ball to land.
Step 3
Aim the kick to the right or left of the target. In a game, if you are attempting to perform a banana kick, it is because there will be something in the way of a direct kick.
Step 4
Kick the ball by grazing it low on one side (the far side). If you are aiming to the right of the target, graze the bottom-right of the soccer ball. If you are aiming to the left of the target, graze the bottom-left of the ball. What you want to happen is for the ball to lift into the air and make a slight curve in the direction you want it to go.

Greenhouse Effect
The greenhouse effect is the rise in temperature that the Earth experiences because certain gases in the atmosphere (water vapor, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane, for example) trap energy from the sun. Without these gases, heat would escape back into space and Earth’s average temperature would be about 60ºF colder. Because of how they warm our world, these gases are referred to as greenhouse gas.
Green house effect leave a great impact to the ecosystem. It causes glacier retreat and disappearance then later result in the rising of sea level and temperature rise. Hence, all of us have the responsibility to prevent the situation from becoming worst. The only simple thing that we can do is reduced to create greenhouse gas.
Love Our Planet !

The Importance Of Insurance
Dear friends,
As part of my job, i am advertising this to share with you what i have shared with
people around me. Will this help you or not, you decide but i'm sure this truly, definitely will
benefits you if you understand what i'm trying to deliver.
The correct expenditure concept :
INcome -----> saving + risk management (10%) ---> expenses (90%)
RM1500 -----> RM150 (10%) ----> RM1350 (90%)
Is it very not reasonable to save 10% of ur income to manage your own risk
( Accident, paralysis, cancer, disability ) and for your future? The most highlighted thing is the premium is 100% return. You are doing your saving indirectly. So, think about it. Your future life is either rich or poor. You are the ONLY one who can decide it.
Have you ever think what might be happen to your parents and love one when one day you accidentally lost the ability to work or pass away.
Let them continue working to support your living fee and medical fee without enjoying their golden age?
**Facts**
When unfortunates happen and needed RM 70,000 minimum for surgery, people normally;
1. Borrow Money - from relative and frends?
Will they lend you when they know you lost your ability to work? What about those hatred eyes if they do lend money to you? Will you be happy?
2. Sell properties - Can you get money immediately from selling houses or cars?
3. Donation/ Fund /welfare department - Do you donate to the unfortunate often?
Do not let tragedy become families' burden. Parents already have hard time building up the family. Childrens have their own future. You do not want them to suffer financially. Is whether you cover yourself or let us cover for you.
ARE YOU PREPARED WHEN YOUR DOCTOR TELL YOU THE WORST?
For more details, you are welcome to refer from me.
Thanks.

The Spirit of de Grisogono
As we all know, diamond is the hardest naturally-occuring mineral in our planet. The hardness of diamond is closely related to its carbon atoms arrangement. It is the allotrope of carbon where the carbon atoms are arranged in an isometric-hexoctahedral crystal lattice. Its hardness and high dispersion of light make it useful for industrial applications and jewelry.
49% of diamonds originate from central and southern Africa. Significant sources of this mineral have been also discovered in Canada, India, Russia, Brazil and Australia.
Regarding to the article linked above, The Spirit of de Grisogono is the world's largest cut black diamond and the world's fifth largest diamond overall. Starting at an uncut weight of 587 carats, it was taken from its origin in west central Africa and cut by Swiss jeweler De Grisogono. The resulting mogul-cut diamond weighs 312.24 carats and is set in a white gold ring with 702 smaller white diamonds totaling 36.69 carats. The ring is rumored to have been sold to an anonymous buyer for an undisclosed amount.
